Guest Comments: We had a very pleasant stay in this friendly and well appointed guest house. We had a friendly welcome, good advice and free transportation to the airport. The rooms are generously appointed and very clean. After a friendly and well cooked breakfast we departed, sure that we would return to this pleasant family run guesthouse.

Guest Comments: We loved your bed and breakfast. The Continental breakfast was wonderful--wish we could have had a later flight so we could have had the regular breakfast. We called you because we lost our camera, but want to tell you that we found it--it was in the bag of the couple we were with. My husband put it in the wrong bag. Guest Comments: We travel annually to the united kingdom and stay at at least 3 B&B's each trip. By far this one--The lawn--was the best. It is the only B&B where a nailbrush was provided, face cloths, and several other amenities which make life more comfortable and less "factory-like." The host is a delightful man helpful and easy as well as incredibly efficient. We were not overwhelmed by rules--at one B&B in Scarborough I felt as though back in "boarding school" because although clean and efficient the rules killed the pleasure. This B&B is warm, accommodating and a great experience. The property is beautifully maintained and is a lovely old home with style and history. I would recommend The Lawn without the slightest hesitation--it is indeed a home away from home!!

Guest Comments: In November my husband and I had our second stay for the year at The Lawn Guest House. Despite "my error" in our reservation Adrian and Carol went to a lot of trouble and managed to accomodate us. I would advise guests please double check your reservation. The date you wish to stay and the date you fly obviously are not on the same night. Thankfully although I had to pay for my mistake the accomodation was still well worth my error and my husband and I were happy that Adrian and Carol were accomodating! They are brilliant hosts! The Lawn is the perfect stop over. Do not try to travel from one end of the country and fly on the same day, it is tireing and very stressfull. A good night's rest in superb accomodation, followed by a hearty breakfast is the perfect begining before your flight. Again Thank you Adrian and Carol. Guest Comments: I cannot thank you enough for the gracious and thoughtful help you extended to our family this past June. Although we only stayed at your Guesthouse one night, we consider it one of the best stops on our trip to London and Italy.From the first time you responded to my inquiry of an early morning taxi to the time you sent us off to dinner, you were amazingly helpful.My husband and I cannot thank you enough for suggesting the twilight check-in at Gatwick (and the assistance navigating the airport). Our seven and nine year olds appreciated the extra hour of sleep for our 7:30am departure.Your suggesion of "Ye Old Six Bells" was the best meal we had in England. Thank you for all of the personal assistance, good advice, and lovely accoomodations. If we have the good fortune to visit England again, we hope we travel through Gatwick.

Guest Comments: I just wanted to say congratulations on your wonderful and excellent guest house.I stayed overnight en route to Cyprus on the 2nd February and during the course of my profession I get to stay in many hotels and in fact many guest houses. I was pleasantly surprised just how high your standards of comfort and cleanliness were. The breakfast was superb and all the staff were friendly and courteous. I would not hesitate to recommend The Lawn to any of my colleagues and friends and I am sure you will see me back again on one of many overnight stays in the Gatwick area!!
